Why is the market rising while the real economy has tanked? April 3, 2013

I was asked the other day why, if things were really so bad in the economy, the stock market was rising; I mentioned something about leverage and that it couldn’t be due to the real economy since it had virtually tanked, but I didn’t really have the answer and I certainly had no data to point to.
       Steve Keen thinks he has discovered why this is happening.
